King Julio of Spain was one of many suitors to Queen Elizabeth I.

When he asked Queen Elizabeth I for her hand in marriage, she passed him as he was making goo-goo eyes with her court jester. King Julio said that this was because he liked men who can make him laugh. He then tried to take the jester with him but Queen Elizabeth I refused to let the jester go.
