Saddam Hussein was the leader of Iraq during the Gulf War. He was the target of an assassination attempt by Erin, but survived because of Krusty's interference.

History[edit]

During the Gulf War, Erin was on a mission to assassinate Saddam Hussein. She was temporarily distracted when she and Krusty spent a night of passion together in her tent, but in the morning Erin left Krusty behind in the tent and resumed her mission to assassinate Saddam.

When Krusty caught up to Erin, she was aiming a rocket launcher at Saddam and literally had him in her sights. Krusty protested that she couldn't kill Saddam because he was half of Krusty's act. Just as Erin was about to fire, Krusty tackled her, making her miss and ruining her mission.[1]

In the Party Posse song "Drop Da Bomb", one of the lyrics is "Your love's more deadly than Saddam".[2]

While investigating a noise in the attic, Homer Simpson found an old copy of Newsweek with a cover story titled "Why America Loves Saddam Hussein".[3]
