Perseus is a hero in Greek mythology.
History[edit]
Danaë saw Perseus off when he rode his "mini-chariot" to school. On his way there, he crashed into King Polydectes. As punishment, Polydectes sent Perseus to bring back the head of Medusa. When Perseus arrived at Medusa's cave, he found her talking with her sister, Circe. Perseus waited for Circe to leave, then attacked Medusa, but Medusa revealed that she didn't turn people into stone by looking at them, but from her second-hand smoke. Perseus then ran away from her and set his hamsters on Medusa. While Medusa wasn't distracted by the hamsters, the snakes were, and chased after the hamsters. This gave Perseus an opening to capture Medusa.
Perseus brought Medusa back to King Polydectes, who proposed to her. Perseus later attended their wedding.
