Character Information
|
Brant Garrison is a comic book creator.
History[edit]
Brant Garrison attended a comic convention in Springfield where he, Willis Cameron Wendall, and Joe Jeffs saw Comic Book Guy with a copy of Interminable Crisis: The Zirconium Edition. They were interested in the comic and offered to let him look at it in return for him signing some comics for them. However, as Comic Book Guy turned around to get a pen, magical energy came from the comic and took the comic creators into it. This turned out to be magic used by Sinister Van Dalus, who kidnapped the comic creators to work for him.
Van Dalus had the comic creators write negative events for the Superior Squadron, with whatever they wrote coming true. This allowed Van Dalus to defeat and capture the superheroes. The other supervillains were skeptical about them, and Van Dalus was about to get the comic creators to write about the villains when the Springfield Super-Squadron showed up to stop him. After the fight, Van Dalus was defeated, and Plasmo removed the memories of the events from the minds of everyone, including Brant Garrison.
Back in the real world, Brant, Willis, and Joe introduced themselves to Gordon Farr and told him they were known for cutting-edge comics but they thought a lot could be said about the old-school approach. Gordon explained to them that comics should be light-hearted and fun.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
