Barbara Van Horne is the wife of Sideshow Mel, although they are currently separated.

History

She and Mel were interested in buying a house with a bowling alley (which Marge talks them out of buying).

She and Sideshow Mel seemed to have a difficult marriage. He once said she does not respect his French arts. She had an affair behind his back with Krusty for 11 years before Krusty told him to tell her that he was dumping her. She eventually left a note for Mel saying that she had left him.

Description

She has the same hair color as Sideshow Mel, but unlike Mel her hair is a normal style. She rarely speaks when other people are around.
