Simon Cowell is a judge on American Idol, famous for delivering his signature brand of harsh reality.
History
After Moe becomes a new judge on American Idol and tells Moe not to become feared like he is as he always says nasty comments to people. After revealing this, he shows Moe clips of what people in Springfield think of him and Moe decided to change, before noticing that Simon has disappeared, only for Simon to step out the shadows and say that his black shirt made him blend into the shadows.
After Moe compliments an act, Simon does the opposite and insults her, making Moe realize that Simon tricked him as he was the Mr. Nasty. Moe then beats Simon up and threatens to rip out his throat with a broken bottle.[1]
Bart asked how awesome American Idol would be if it was just Simon and Randy.[2]
