History

In a short film, Guillermo del Toro said that Mr. Burns combines the ancient evil of Cthulhu with the trim physique of Slender Man.

In the town of Fogburyport, the Simpsons were to take part in an eating contest, except this turned out to be a ruse to get sacrifices for Cthulhu. When Cthulhu was about to eat Homer, Homer challenged him to an eating contest. Cthulhu started to struggle and decided to go for a walk before falling over, leaving Homer as the winner. Homer was then allowed to name his prize, and chose to have him and his family eat Cthulhu.
