After Marge locks Homer in the cellar he is unwillingly released by Moe and a band of demons including Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Dracula, the Mummy, the Wolfman, and Pinhead, despite wanting to finish eating before killing his family.

• Freddy Krueger appeared in "Treehouse of Horror VI"'s couch gag. He sat on the Simpson's couch with Jason Voorhees (from Friday The 13th) watching television, waiting for the Simpsons to arrive.
