Al Jean is a producer and writer.
History
Al Jean is one of the many writers that worked for Roger Meyers, Jr. writing The Itchy & Scratchy Show. Meyers fired every one of his writers, including Jean, after hiring Abraham Simpson. Jean also attended the annual cartoon awards that took place at the Springfield Civic Center. When Abe Simpson won the prize, Jean said he was tired of cartoons, and that he was going to write a sitcom about a sassy robot.[1]
He was on Kent Brockman's list of people who are gay.[2]
