Comic Book Gay is the gay cousin of Comic Book Guy.

History

He seen exiting the restroom of Moe's Tavern while it was a gay-friendly establishment and was called Mo's. Homer saw him there and mistook him for Comic Book Guy, but Comic Book Gay quickly corrected him. When Homer asked Comic Book Gay whether he liked comic books, he replied, "Certain kinds."

Comic Book Gay looks and sounds almost exactly like Comic Book Guy, even to the point of both of them having the same "Worst [noun] ever!" catchphrase. After Moe had made over his bar into Mo's, he went to great lengths to portray himself as gay in order to win the favor (and continued business) of his new customers. At one point, Moe said that like every other gay man, he was constantly on the lookout for other men to hook up with, which prompted Comic Book Gay to sardonically say, "Worst stereotype ever!"

The main difference between Comic Book Guy and Comic Book Gay is that Comic Book Gay has a large horseshoe moustache. Comic Book Gay also appears to be slightly older.
