Character Information
|
Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth is a professor.
History[edit]
When Bender refused to kill Homer in the past, because Bender has bonded with Homer, Leela and Fry appeared in a projection to ask Bender what was taking him so long to kill Homer. Fry, Leela, and Professor Farnsworth then went to the past to finish the job for Bender. When Homer, Lisa, and Professor Frink managed to talk the Planet Express crew out of killing Homer, Farnsworth told Leela to find out why people pay for freemium games.
Professor Farnsworth, Professor Frink, and Lisa then got to work at trying to find another solution to the New New York creatures problem. When Lisa asked how they got to the past, Farnsworth said that time machines couldn't exist and that they teleported through a singularity that he quantum entangled to Bender. He then said that Bender came to the past via time machine. Later, Professor Farnsworth found out that the DNA came from one of the Simpson children, rather than Homer, and wanted to kill them. Everyone then went to dig up the time capsule, but the portal in the future was broken by the New New York creatures and everyone got transported to the future. In the future, the Professor decided to give up when he thought there was no chance of getting the portal working again. Farnsworth then suggested sending all the monsters into space, and then helped out with Lisa's plan to contain them in the Madison Cube Garden.[1]
Professor Farnsworth was seen moving a "The Science of Futurama" exhibit in the Springfield Science Museum.[2]
A picture of Farnsworth was seen on a banner for Futurama at Comicalooza.[3]
