Yogi Bear is a bear from Jellystone Park.
History[edit]
Homer once had a dream where he was Yogi Bear, called "Homie", or "Homie Bear", in the dream. Bart was Boo-Boo (called "Bart-Bart") and Ned Flanders was Ranger Smith. Homi had just stolen a picnic basket when Ranger Ned appeared and asked him to hand over the basket. Homi became angry and savagely mauled Ranger Ned, and was in the middle of clawing him to shreds when Bart and Lisa woke Homer up. On being awakened, Homer protested, "I was having the most wonderful dream. I had a hat and a tie with no pants on."[1]
When the Simpson family went to Washington, D.C. to see Congressman Krusty, Homer had with him a maze where the goal was to help Yogi Bear get to the Washington Monument.[2]

Yogi Bear was also once seen in the woods near Springfield, when Edmund took Lisa into the woods and climbed a tree until they got to a tree branch with a commanding view of the forest. After they sat down on the branch, Yogi was spotted at ground level, walking amidst the trees carrying Ranger Smith's head in a picnic basket.[3]
