Matt "Tex" Groening is the name that a stand-in for Matt Groening used.
History[edit]
Matt "Tex" Groening took the readers on a tour of Bongo Comics. During the tour, he explained the history of Bongo Comics and how it started from his bedroom closet. Since then, Bongo Comics had come a long way and used state-of-the-art technology, such as the Plot-A-Tron 3000, to create Simpsons Comics. During the tour, he took the readers to a room where artists were drawing the real Matt Groening. He then took the readers to the final part of the process, where the comics were approved by the editors, Bill Morrison and Terry Delegeane. After the tour, Matt "Tex" Groening told the readers to join him the following week to see what it was like inside a real live corporate takeover.
