Simpsons Comics is a comic series created by Matt Groening for Bongo Comics.
History[edit]
Matt Groening created Simpsons Comics from his bedroom closet. Since then, the process had changed considerably. The plots were written using the Plot-A-Tron 3000, and the writers fleshed the plots out. The artists drew the comic panels before they went to the inking room, where the artists risked black lung disease. The coloring room used endangered species to create the colors. The lettering room had Cecil Terwilliger filling the speech bubbles despite not knowing how to read. Finally, Bill Morrison and Terry Delegeane, who were locked up in a maximum-security prison, approved the comics.
