Kearney Zzyzwicz Sr. is the father of Kearney. He looks similar to his son, except for his more rude appearance and beard.

History

When Homer said he had a fear of bears, Kearney said that his dad was afraid of paying child support.

One time he attacked Homer in Moe's Tavern after he tried to have their sons stop bullying his own son, Bart. He hit him with a pool stick at Homer's head, which left him stunned yet not knocked out (a condition that would lead him to become a boxer later). The bullies' father then left at gunpoint by Moe, who told them not to hit Homer as he had a two drink minimum to do so.

Mr. Zzyzwicz took Kearney and Kearney Zzyzwicz, Jr. to see a Springfield Isotopes baseball game.
