Irish Pete is an elderly Springfieldian who speaks with an Irish brogue.

History

He was outside the Simpson's house on Whacking Day and confirmed that the event was just an excuse to beat up the Irish.

He attended a neighborhood watch meeting.

He was in the audience at Moe's Cavern for Barney's debut performance as a member of The Be Sharps and shed a tear when Barney sang Sweet Adeline.

Nelson dressed up as Orion, who was created by Jack Kirby. Irish Pete mistook him saying this to mean Kirby O'Ryan was his father and said that he had gone to school with that man.
