George Lucas is an American film director, best known as for creating Star Wars and Indiana Jones.

History[edit]

Comic Book Guy chewed his Hot Pockets exactly seventy-two times because he felt that if he didn't, George Lucas would die.^[1]

Nelson Muntz and George Lucas both attended a screening of Something Wicked This Way Burns, a documentary detailing how the Burns family had been a negative influence in the United States. When Nelson said he was trying to make a bootleg copy of the film, Lucas chided him: "As a filmmaker, I really wish you wouldn't do that!" Nelson countered by saying, "As a film watcher, your last two movies sucked, Lucas, so shut up before I pound ya!"^[2]

After news of Comic Book Guy's death spread on the Internet, Lucas was among a group of film directors in a bar celebrating that they no longer had to be afraid of being made fun of online.^[3]

Behind the Laughter[edit]

The comic story Now Museum, Now You Don't! first appeared in August 2005, but was most likely written before Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith was released (in May 2005). When Nelson says, "Your last two movies sucked", he is referring to The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones.
