Simon Cowell is a judge on American Idol, famous for delivering his signature brand of harsh reality.

Bart asked how awesome American Idol would be if it was just Simon and Randy.[1]

When Moe was signed on to become a new judge on American Idol, Simon Cowell showed Moe around Los Angeles before taking him back to the studio. Simon also gave Moe the phone number of his assistant. In the studio, Simon told Moe that the cost of him being nasty all the time meant that he was lonely. He then told Moe to not go down the same route as him as he'll end up lonely too.
