When Homer saw a man sleep in a dumpster, he said that he is like Oscar the Grouch.[1]

When Homer was singing a song about garbage men, Oscar popped out of a trash can.[2]

Oscar was also among the various PBS characters that chased Homer around Springfield. In the DVD commentary, he was named Oscar the Grump due to legal reasons.[3]

Milhouse asked Dubya Spuckler if he ever wondered what happened to Oscar on garbage day.[4]

Oscar the Grouch was seen on the banner for Sesame Street on Ice.[5]
