Common Bouvier Traits
Jacqueline shares many Bouvier traits, such as in I Married Marge, it was shown that she smoked. When Marge was a little girl, Jacqueline had a blue beehive, and spoke like Marge's adult voice. Jacqueline is shown as a pessimistic, critcial, and unsociable old woman, whom almost never smiles (with one exception in Lady Bouvier's Lover).
Romantic Relationships
She had a brief romance with Abraham Simpson, her son-in-law Homer's father. However, she broke up with him when she was wooed by billionaire Montgomery Burns, whom she came close to marrying before Abraham's intervention made her decide she was better off alone. Jacqueline has made minor appearances in the episodes Bart vs. Thanksgiving and [[Slee[ing with the Enemy]]. As of 2010, she hasn't appeared in any recent episodes.
Name Origin and Creation
The character is created by creator Matt Groening is named after Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis. She has the tallest hair of any Simpson character. Her design according to a DVD commentary was created by "Taking Marge's Model and squashed it".
