History

He was announced as a "gay robot from Star Wars is a wrestling match with R2-D2 against the Cylons from Battlestar Galactica. He was getting beaten badly. He then asks R2 to save him but R2 goes away instead, causing C-3PO to state that he hates him.^[1]

Someone also dresses up as C-3PO at a Sci-Fi convention.^[2]
