The Holy Rollers are a bowling team that consists of well-known religious people in Springfield. They go to tournaments wearing monks' robes and have a choir accompanying them.

History

The former members, as seen in "Team Homer"

The Pin Pals beat them in league games on two occasions.[1][2]

Behind the Laughter

The team's name is a pun on the slang term Holy Roller, which is used (generally in a derogatory fashion) to refer to the occasionally boisterous worship style of Pentecostal Christians.
