She almost got run over when the tank commandeered by Bart burst through the Springfield bookmobile.[5]
She gave useless books as food to Cletus's pigs at the library.[6]
When the Simpsons went to visit the library, she closed it up because, due to decreased interest, the library was kept open for shorter hours. She told the family that this was the time that silverfish were about in the library.[4]
