Birchibald "Birch" T. Barlow is a right-wing conservative talk show host on the radio station KBBL. He also has a show on Fox News.

Fame

On air (and presumably personally), he is a radical conservative, highlighted by his book, Only Turkeys Have Left Wings. His on air rantings are intentionally engineered to be controversial and to rile up the audience, in order to convince them to call, as does many talk back radio hosts. On his radio show, he declares himself to be "the fourth branch of government" and "the fifty-first state".[1]

He took part in the world's tallest human pyramid record attempt.[2]

Simpsons Mania

Birch Spent his youth on Seth and Munchie's Juice-Making Commune. However, he renounced his hippie roots when he learned that although the women on the commune believed in free love, they didn't believe it pertained to him. A strong philosophical right turn later and Birch found himself a leader in the Republican community. Now a best selling author and radio host, he uses his influence to rail against liberal politicians and organizations on a daily basis. Mayor "Diamond Joe" Quimby's success with the ladies is particularly irksome to Barlow, who considers it his duty to convince the voters of Springfield that a man with a sex drive is unfit to hold public office.Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag
