Neil Armstrong is an American aviator and former astronaut, test pilot, aerospace engineer, university professor, and United States Naval Aviator. He was the first person to set foot on the Moon.
History
Armstrong had a booth at the Springfield Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con, but no one wanted his autograph or even cared that he had actually been to the Moon. Annoyed by the convention attendees' indifference, Armstrong came close to firing his agent.[1]
In a flashback scene, Homer remembered the television coverage when Armstrong set foot on the Moon, and Armstrong's voice was heard as he delivered his famous "One small step ..." line.[2] When Krusty was married to Holly Hippy, he prevented her from seeing the moon landing as he was jealous of Armstrong.[3]
Barney told to Homer then at that he can buy the moon from him for won it from Neil Armstrong in a dice game. Homer buys it from Barney for a beer and gave it to Maggie becuse she wanted it.[4]

When Homer start killing celebrities so the advertising agencies can use them in commercials for free he kills Neil Armstrong.[5] When Homer sat down on the carousel at Krustyland, he said that they are the first people "to ever ride this baby", and they are like "that space guy who did that moon thing!". Lisa asked if he meant Neil Armstrong. Homer replied that he meant Chewbacca.[6]

Dan Castellaneta provided the voice of Neil Armstrong in "Mayored to the Mob". Archive audio of Armstrong's famous line, "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind", was used in "Itchy & Scratchy: The Movie" and "Worst Episode Ever".
