Lyle McCarthy is a celebrity fitness trainer. He helped Homer train for the part of Everyman in the film Everyman, a superhero film created by Comic Book Guy. He works for other stars such as Angelina Jolie, Turtle, and John Travolta. Often calling Homer nicknames starting with "home": Home alone, Home team, and Homeospean. He makes his money by leaving his clients and coming back and leaving again.
