She invited the Simpson family to her one hundredth birthday party. When they were on the plane there, Homer started a riot which caused the plane to be diverted to New Orleans. Later Eunice sung "Happy Birthday to You" to herself sadly.[1]

Marge got a phone call in the night about Eunice, who she was told was dying. Marge, Patty and Selma went to visit her, with Patty and Selma claiming all of her belongings after her death. Eunice found out and threatened Patty and Selma. Eventually, she recovered from her illness.[2]
