Mercer is a board game creator and Lisa Simpson's boyfriend in the future.

History

Lisa brought Mercer home to meet with Homer and Marge. Lisa told her parents that Mercer created board games, and Marge asked if he was like Parker Brothers. Mercer then went on a rant about Parker Brothers and how they were mainstream corporate garbage before he showed them his game, Side-gammon. When nobody wanted to play, Mercer went to yell into the washer/dryer as Lisa tried to reassure Homer and Marge that Mercer was brilliant and had a good heart. She then said that she was going to marry Mercer.
