Bette used to be in a gang with Sarah Wiggum, Erin and Lindsey Naegle. The gang would rob people and buildings. One robbery at a building had Sarah Wiggum distracting the guard, Clancy Wiggum, whilst Bette, Erin, and Lindsey broke into the safe. However, Lindsey double-crossed Bette and Erin and sounded the alarm before taking off with the jewels. This led to Bette and Erin getting arrested, whilst Sarah managed to escape as she was with Clancy at the time.

Years later, Bette and Erin kidnapped Sarah and Marge, wanting Sarah's help to get back at Lindsey Naegle. They planned to break into the Gen Gala event at the Museum of Generational Wealth and steal the hourglass diamond that Lindsey kept on her tiara. Marge ended up helping them with their plan. Bette and Erin went undercover at the Gala as waiters and Sarah delivered them the tiara. Afterwards, they framed Lindsey for multiple robberies at the Gala, leading to Lindsey getting arrested.[2]
