The Simpsons: Tapped Out Moe's Ark will be the one hundred and seventy-first content update, and will be released on August 1st, 2018.
Available info
- The launch date will be August 1st, 2018.
- Intro quests will auto-trigger for any player that has completed the tutorial.
- Initial objective: Requires any 3 Simpsons Family members (Homer, Lisa, Marge, Bart, Grampa, etc.)
Synopsis
Act 1
Springfielders, collectively exhausted from recent hijinks, demand a more wholesome family experience. Not another theme park featuring murderous cartoon animals, but a park filled with real animals! The Springfield Zoo never re-opened and is in a state of disrepair. The town fixes up the entrance in preparation of the grand re-opening and immediately runs out of funds.
The owner of the Zoo, Larry Kidkill, offers advice on how to bring in the extra funding. The townsfolk volunteer at the Zoo and tend to the animals for free, while Larry Kidkill applies for Animal Sanctuary grants to fund the whole endeavor.
Moe agrees to help source the animals on condition of immunity, which Wiggum agrees to because it means he doesn’t have to investigate anything. Moe goes to work using his smuggling contacts to bring in replacements for the usual attractions.

Act 2
The zoo is almost complete, but a few animals start getting sick. Chicken pox, avian flu, pony with a little hoarse throat, you name it. Dr. Hibbert, hearing of the sickness, offers to help out pro bono since the town doesn’t have a dedicated veterinarian. Lisa is just thankful Dr. Nick isn’t helping, since he flunked out of vet school, and offers to be Dr. Hibbert’s assistant.
Larry Kidkill agrees to Dr. Hibbert’s offer and treatment of the animals begins. With everything humming along smoothly, the zoo expands to also include attractions from the Springfield Aquarium and exotic safari-like experiences.

Act 3
A month after opening, zoo attendance is already declining due to Springfielders’ very short attention spans. Dr. Hibbert has a surprise for Larry Kidkill… an entirely new species, thanks to the wonders of genetic engineering and lax animal testing laws!
The unleashed monstrosities drive interest in the zoo again, but also cause chaos. Dealing with the hybrids is even more time consuming than capturing regular animals, so Larry Kidkill agrees to stop funding Dr. Hibbert's experiments and things return to normal-ish.
