Polly is an octoparrot created at the Screaming Monkey Medical Research Center.
History[edit]
Polly had the head, body and tail feathers of a parrot, but the tentacles of an octopus instead of wings and legs.
When Homer, unhappy about being smart, visited the Screaming Monkey Medical Research Center so that its scientists could make him stupid again, the scientists refused, saying that they did not play God. Homer told them that they did nothing but play God, and he thought their octoparrot would agree. Polly then started to talk, saying "Polly shouldn't be".
