Clark Kent is a journalist and the secret everyday identity of Superman.

History

When Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster made a stop at The Apothecary's Drugstore on their way to the publisher for present their idea of Clark Kent made the waiter them to change the character to Superman.[1]

Homer Simpson includes Clark Kent (along with Superman) in The Lazy Hall of Fame because instead of designing an elaborate mask to conceal his identity, Clark decided he would transform into Superman by just taking off his glasses.[2]
