Orville J. Simpson, or Great Grampa Simpson, was born in the late 1800s in "The Old Country", which appears to be Northern England or Scotland. Orville married Yuma Hickman in the early 1900s. The two soon had their first son Tyrone. A few years later, they had their second son, Cyrus. In around 1904, they had their third son, Abraham. In around 1920, Orville, Yuma and his three sons immigrated to America, and moved into the Statue of Liberty. For a few years they lived here, but they were forced to move out when they filled the head with too much garbage. They family moved to another part of America. Tyrone grew up and moved to Dayton, Ohio. In the 1920s, Orville and Yuma had another son, and named him Bill. Abraham and Cyrus grew up, with them both becoming navy pilots in WWII. Cyrus crashed his fighter plane in Tahiti, and moved there permanently, later becoming married to 15 women, to whom he is still married. Bill grew up and became a communist.In the 1940s, Orville and Yuma had their final child, and named him Chet. Orville and Yuma later grew old and passed away. Chet grew up to and started to run an unsuccessfull shrimp company. Orville is seen in Heaven by Bart, in Bart Gets Hit by a Car, strangling young Abe, hinting the habit is a family trait. He is then seen in Much Apu About Nothing, when Grampa tells the family of his arrival in the U.S. According to the The Simpsons Uncensored Family Album he is the only son of 'Old-Tut' Simpson and 'Happy' Dinsdale.
