Ron Howard is an American film director who seems to be good friends with Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin.

History

He gave Homer parenting advice at one time but also tried to kill him after jumping onto Homer's mobile museum. He can't drive very well. Homer wanted him to direct a new film he had wrote about a robot driving instructor whose best friend is a pie, which Howard later plagiarized for his own.[1]

Ron Howard was also a celebrity guest on Springfield Squares, where he got into a fight with Homer Simpson over Homer's getting to be the center square even though he flubbed his lines. Some days later, Howard took his children to a "famous people only" zoo.[2]

A picture of Ron Howard was seen on the wall of Springfield Sardi's.[3]

Ron Howard attended the premiere of The Simpsons season finale at the Dolby-Mucinex Theater in Los Angeles. When feeling the theater, Tom Hanks pushed Howard out of the way and referred to him as "Opie", his character from The Andy Griffith Show.[4]
