The Everyman director 1 is one of the two directors of Everyman, alongside his brother.

History

The director went to see Comic Book Guy to negotiate making a film based on the Everyman comic. Comic Book Guy told him and his colleagues that he would only accept if he could choose who played Everyman. The director objected to this, but was cut off by Comic Book Guy. After Homer got hired to play Everyman, the director and his brother told Homer that they had shown his picture to a cross-section of typical movie-goers, and they hated him. He told Homer that several people who saw the picture chose to stare at the sun.

After Homer put on weight again, the director realized that the film was going to be a disaster. When the test screening was taking place, he told the film producer that they had fixed the entire film in editing. After the test screening, the director told Comic Book Guy that the projectionist hung himself with the final reel.
