Augustus "Gus" Redfield is a businessman and the owner and CEO of RedStar and former owner of Worth-A-Try Burger.

History

When Gus and Abe were young adults, they owned Worth-A-Try Burger together. However, the restaurant was struggling due to a lack of customers. When Krusty the Clown bought a burger from them, he was surprised at how quickly they served him, due to the triple flopper spatula they used. Krusty then started to work for Worth-A-Try Burger to bring in customers. However, Krusty got greedy and demanded more money than he was getting. Gus and Abe then fired him and threw him in a dumpster. Soon after, Krusty patented the triple flopper himself and opened up Krusty Burger, driving Worth-A-Try Burger out of business. Gus vowed to get his revenge on Krusty.

Years later, Gus had become the owner of RedStar and the ninth richest man in the world. He then went to Krusty Fest to confront Krusty and told him that he had bought out Krusty Burger and The Krusty the Clown Show and that he was fired from both and couldn't even use the name "Krusty" anymore. When Gus was on stage announcing all this to the crowd, he spoke about his old partner, Abe. Grampa realized that this was him and he and Gus reunited. Gus then invited Grampa to join him on the board of directors for RedStar.

Gus took Grampa and Lisa to New York City so that Grampa could take part in the board meetings. They were then introduced to Gus' children; Colby, Mav, and Sheila. Gus then showed Grampa that he had recreated their Worth-A-Try Burger in one of the rooms of his mansion, and the two of them served burgers to everyone. Meanwhile, Gus' children were planning to put forward a vote of no confidence in Gus, with Sheila wanting to seize control of the company. When the board meeting started, this proposal got put forward with all three of Gus' children agreeing to it. Three other board members, Angela Merkel, Kevin O'Leary and Charli D'Amelio, all voted against it, leaving Grampa to have the deciding vote. Grampa decided to stick with Gus and vote against it.

After Grampa voted against it, Gus showed his true colors. He revealed that he knew that his children were plotting against him so he tricked Grampa into helping him out. Gus told everyone that he didn't care about Worth-A-Try Burger anymore and just wanted to stop the coup from his children. After hearing this, Grampa started telling crazy stories and claimed to be insane, which Lisa and Jessica confirmed to mean that Grampa's vote was null. This led the board of directors to be deadlocked and Grampa and Lisa left the building.
