Lisanardo da Vinci is a painter and inventor. She appeared in a story of Leonardo da Vinci's life, told by Lisa.

History[edit]

Lisanardo was a sketch artist in Vinci working for the police, drawing detailed pictures of suspects. Lisanardo later moved to Florence where she attended Verrocchio's Studio, an art studio run by Andrea del Verrocchio. After Verrocchio saw Lisanardo's work, he stopped painting and went to a music school instead because he knew he could never match her work. All the other students were annoyed at Lisanardo as she was better than them and her gifts came from Heaven. An angel then descended and gave Lisanardo more talent.

Lisanardo got sad because she was lonely due to everyone abandoning her for being too good. Lisanardo then imagined the Vitruvian Man talking to her and he told Lisanardo to invent weapons, which she then did. Lisanardo then wrote diaries with her ideas, one of which was stolen by Barticelli and given to the emperor of Italy, who used them to kill slightly different Christians. After seeing her weapons used, Lisanardo escaped to France where she worked for King Francis I. Lisanardo then went to work finishing her masterpiece, The Da Vinci Code, which took her decades of her life.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

Lisanardo da Vinci is a parody of Leonardo da Vinci.
