After Hades decided to start dating forced Persephone to date him. Persephone did not like how Hades picked her up, but he persuaded her to teach him how to date, and they ate together and danced. After that, Persephone tried to leave Hades but failed and went to court, where Athena and forced her to live six months each year with Hades because she did not pay for the food. She was then ordained as a curse, which meant that when she was with Hades, then the whole Earth would be cold.[2]
