History

After a letter from Marge about Homer's Internet piracy came through to him, he set up a task force to bring Homer in, and told his team to set their guns to kill. A group of soldiers dropped in on Homer's film viewing and arrested him. After Homer escaped and went to the Consulate of Sweden, Gratman got Judas Priest to play the song "Respecting the Law" to drive the family out, but that failed. After Homer found out that Marge turned him in, Homer gave himself up to Gratman.

Personality

Deputy Director Gratman seems to take his job very seriously and thinks of Internet piracy as the biggest crime there is. He would do anything to stop it and seems to go to extreme lengths to achieve his goal.

A pre-release image of Deputy Director Gratman was released in June 2013. This image showed him looking slightly different to what he did in the final episode.[1]
