Gloria Steinem is American journalist and founder of Ms. magazine;. Her advocacy for women's rights has nade her a feminist icon.

History

Lisa's dream bedroom has a great wall of great women. Women that are on the wall include Eleanor Roosevelt, Harriet Tubman, Hermione Granger, Joan of Arc, Sacagawea, and Gloria Steinem.[1]

During an episode of The Flow with Joyce Kinney, Joyce Kinney asked Peter Griffin if the comic he ran on For Pete's Sake! was appropriate on Gloria Steinem's half-birthday.

Later on, when Meg Griffin was playing Lisa Simpson's saxophone, two birds heard the music. The blue one said that Meg was better than Lisa, and that she was amazing. The purple bird said that Meg was good for a girl. The blue bird responded to this with "Real nice. And two days after Gloria Steinem's half-birthday."[2]
