Character Information
|
Jake is a barber who works at Jake's Unisex Barbershop.
History[edit]
Jake is an elderly barber and the proprietor of Jake's Unisex Barbershop, or previously named Snippy Longstockings Barbershop. He is not known to be very good at what he does, as he may be losing his eyesight and often cuts people's hair far too short as he did to Bart.[1] He is not always bad though as he cuts Lisa's hair quite well after Bart throws gum in it.[2] Jake's could be considered somewhat mentally unstable as he pays his employees with hair.[3]
Behind the Laughter[edit]
Comedian Bob Elliott was the inspiration for Jake's voice.[4]
