History[edit]
Homer once had a dream where he was Yogi Bear, called "Homie", or "Homie Bear", in the dream. Bart was Boo-Boo (called "Bart-Bart") and Ned Flanders was Ranger Smith. Homi became angry and savagely mauled Ranger Ned, and was in the middle of clawing him to shreds when Bart and Lisa woke Homer up. On being awakened, Homer protested, "I was having the most wonderful dream. I had a hat and a tie with no pants on."[1]
When the Simpson family went to Washington, D.C. to see Congressman Krusty, Homer had with him a maze where the goal was to help Yogi Bear get to the Washington Monument.[2]
