History
In his show, Gustavson travels to different restaurants and eats their "challenge" dishes. In the episode that the Simpsons watched, Gustavson visited the Old Bacon-Fudge Hut, where the challenge dish was the "Fudginator". Restaurant worker Stan described it as "Two pounds of applewood-smoked bacon enrobed in three pounds of our buttery-rich maple fudge." Gustavson polished it off in just under four minutes, winning a T-shirt reading "I Beat the Fudginator" and an ambulance ride to the hospital. The episode gave Bart the idea of getting Homer on TV by taking him to a taping of The Krusty the Clown Show.
