Character Information
|
Funzo was the toy released by Kid First Industries in "Grift of the Magi". They seemed to have a mind of their own and attempted to kill off all other competition in toys, such as Bart's Krusty doll and Lisa's Malibu Stacy. It is an obvious parody of the Furby including the cute phrases and various types of colors. But many people do not know that the toy was yet programmed to destroy other toys that kids got for Christmas which then had Homer go to people's houses taking their Funzo toys while dressing up as Santa Claus, Bart and Lisa would sing carols to that family. The Funzo Dolls meet their end at the hands of Gary Coleman and the Tyre fire; when burnt down their skulls seem to resemble the "Terminator" skull. Their add then appears again in "Funeral for a Fiend" and also one appears on Bart's shelf in "Treehouse of Horror XVIII". The clip of Homer stealing the Funzo toys also appeared in "Gump Roast". There is also a Funzo in The Color Yellow when Lisa looks for a Simpsons history book in the wind.
