Doc Brown (also known as Emmett L. Brown) is a fictional scientist and a lead character in the Back to the Future trilogy.
History
Hoping to keep the Institute of Future Technology open, Doc Brown was about the sign a contract provided by his banker, Mr. Friedman.
Before he could sign it, however, Mr. Friedman was ran over by a DeLorean from 2007 that was driven by Professor Frink. With his banker dead, Doc lamented that he had no choice, but to sell the Institute to Krusty the Clown.
The Institute of Future technology was replaced by a Krustyland amusement park. Krusty offerred Doc Brown a job tearing up tickets, providing that the latter would cut his hair. Doc agreed to do so as it took effort to manage his look.
