Sam Waters is a character in the TV show Thicker than Waters. He is the son and younger child of Patrick Waters and Mrs. Waters.

History

Sam wanted a new baseball glove but his father wouldn't buy it for him. Patrick told him that he had to earn the money to buy the glove so he would appreciate it more. Sam did what he was told, bought the glove with money he earned himself and thanked his father for not buying the glove for him.

One of Sam's tricks is making sad faces to get what he wants. Patrick seems to have become immune to the trick, however. When Sam tried using the sad face to get the baseball glove, Patrick was unmoved and covered Sam's face with his old glove.
