Character Information
|
Rabbi Rudenstein is the head rabbi of Temple Beth Western and a comedian in Springfield.
History[edit]
Rabbi Hyman Krustofsky, right before his death, told his son that Rabbi Rudenstein was funny, and had a signed picture by him on his office wall. Later, Rabbi Rudenstein spoke at Krustofsky's funeral. Finally, when Bart and Krusty went to Temple Beth Western, Bart pointed out Rudenstein, saying that his father was his favorite. Rabbi Rudenstein began using Krusty's jokes, which made Krusty think that if his father thought Rudenstein was funny, he must of also thought his son was funny too.[1]
He later spoke at Dr. Nussbaum's funeral.[2]
Rabbi Rudenstein was one of the religious people who Marge brought to the First Church of the Blessed Mulligan to show that the golf religion was a sham. Rabbi Rudenstein, along with the other religious people, decided that it was being treated as an actual religion. He then signed up to the club along with the rest of the religious people because they were offered a group deal.[3]
