Philip "Pip" Pirrip is an orphan and the protagonist and narrator of Great Expectations.
History[edit]
When Lisa tells Bart the plot of Great Expectations, he uses this as a book report. However, Lisa doesn't tell him what really happens, so Bart gets bad grades. According to Bart's book report, Pip was an orphan, and when he reaches voting age, he gets sent to London, where he meets James Bond and becomes a spy. The story ends with Pip throwing Mr. Bumblechook off the Eiffel Tower and marrying Molly Haversham on MTV.
