Wallace the Hernia is Homer's hernia which he started to hallucinate whilst taking medication.

History

When Homer got a hernia, he started taking medication to treat the pain for it. One of the side effects of the medication was hallucinations. Homer started to hallucinate Wallace who talked Homer out of doing stuff with Marge. Wallace told Homer to relax and eat and drink constantly rather than go to physical therapy with Marge. When Marge took up kite surfing, Wallace talked Homer out of going with her.

Homer and Marge started drifting apart due to Homer refusing to do anything with her. Eventually, Bart and Lisa decided to get Homer to the beach with Marge. Lisa told Homer that she had to do research on sea turtles. Whilst Wallace saw that this was a trick, Homer ignored him. Meanwhile, Maggie revealed that she could also see Wallace and attacked him. At the beach, Wallace tried to talk Homer out of joining Marge but Maggie trapped him in a bucket. After this, Homer and Marge reconciled their relationship.
