History

Apu told Marge to pursue her dreams, like he pursued his dream to come to America to start a new family. He then said that he had a new dream, to ditch his family and move back to India as "Steve Barnes".

Two weeks later, a story appears in The Springfield Shopper saying that Apu had gone missing. Another story appeared in The New Delhi Daily at the same time stating that Steve Barnes had opened up a convenience store in New Delhi.
